Social Media Posts (Ideation-Execution)

Client: Victory Church

Challenge

Victory Church was ready for a digital reset. Their presence felt more like a digital bulletin board than a space for real connection. Content lacked heart, didn’t reflect what truly mattered to their audience, and missed the mark in terms of engagement. It wasn’t speaking to the reality of who their audience is or what they care about. To better reflect the values of the church and increase both reach and in-person impact, they needed a comprehensive refresh—from strategy to storytelling—that would make them more relatable to their audience, spark meaningful and memorable conversations, and show people what it feels like to be part of Victory.

Solution

To turn things around, we developed an ongoing strategy rooted in empathy, authenticity, and creativity. We shifted away from event-only announcements and leaned into content that connects—blending humor, felt-need messaging, and visual storytelling to reflect what our audience actually cares about.

As a content strategist and copywriter, I help lead that charge. I ideate and execute high-impact content—like reels, carousels, and series-driven posts—that speak directly to the lives and questions of our audience while aligning with the overall mission and voice of the church. Every piece of content is designed to do more than inform. It’s built to resonate, invite, and engage.

Take a look at some of the posts I helped ideate and execute…

Carousel: I had a great time ideating, writing, and designing this carousel to promote Victory Church’s Saturday service. As Sunday attendance surged and Saturday numbers lagged, I used reverse psychology humor to create a playful, persuasive post that both connected with our audience and encouraged them to consider the less crowded service option.

Metrics That Matter: This post saw an increase in impressions through over 7k views, over 280 likes, over 15 comments, and 10 shares, which isn’t common for carousels that we had posted in the past. All signs that we are moving in the right direction!

Reel: I helped ideate, capture footage, edit the final cut, and write the caption for this high-energy weekend invite. The goal? Showcase the culture of Victory, build excitement around the in-person experience, and give viewers a taste of what they’d be missing if they stayed home.

Metrics That Matter
This reel resonated. In under 24 hours, it earned over 10k views, nearly 400 likes, 35+ comments, and 15+ shares—amplifying both reach and anticipation for the weekend.
